Mary Stone’s new Indie Reign series has a great beginning. Indie has a gift of being able to talk with animals. She’s moved back home where her family was taken and her grandmother disappeared. Her new job as the K9 detective has come with Broc her K9 dog, a turtle and her collie. It also comes with past deaths of teens and now a new one. The deaths come with the same message. The story is dark and disturbing , with a little humour thrown in. Indie must help find a twisted killer of teenagers.
